A little about myself…

My name is Matt Ditchen. I was born in Guatemala, but was adopted at a very young age. I was only four months old when my parents adopted me and I have lived in West Virginia ever since.

I am currently working for the Department of Commerce in West Virginia as a marketing manager at Commerce Communications.

I grew up in Charleston, West Virginia doing many activities like Boy Scouts, play the violin, wrestling, and mission trips.

I love to travel whenever I get the chance, I have been around to a lot of the states in the U.S. and once got to go to South Africa.

I am actively working on becoming fluent in Spanish. I want to travel back to my home country Guatemala to visit and learn more about my culture.

I was lucky to find my passion for creativity during my time in college at West Virginia University.

Being a creative is not easy all the time, but it allows me to express my ideas and turn them into stories and content that people can connect with.

Over the years, my knowledge, experience, and curiosity for creative work has only gotten more diverse.

I am always trying to learn and improve so I can put my best creative work out into the world.
